About DCOSL

Good work starts with understanding your space.

Decorative Concrete of South Louisiana exists to help people make better decisions about the concrete they already have—what can be saved, what needs to be repaired, what should be resurfaced, and what finish will actually belong in the space.

Our mission

Bring new life to concrete worth keeping.

A worn patio may need a new overlay. A faded entry may only need restoration. A working garage needs a different finish from an outdoor kitchen. We assess what is there, listen to what you want to change and recommend a practical path forward.

When a project is a fit, the goal is simple: prepare it correctly, make the design feel connected to the property, explain the limitations before installation and leave the owner knowing how the finished surface should be used and cared for.

How we approach the work

Start with the slab. Design around the space.

Condition before coating

Existing coatings, cracks, repairs, contamination, moisture, drainage and movement can change what should be installed and how the surface should be prepared.

Design in context

Pattern, color and texture should relate to the house, pool, landscaping, transitions and scale of the space—not simply look good on a sample.

Expectations made clear

Concrete moves and decorative finishes are hand-applied. We explain finish variation, surface requirements and maintenance before work begins.

South Louisiana is part of the plan

Heat, humidity, rain, full sun, wet-use areas and ground movement all affect preparation, installation timing, traction and long-term care.

What that means for the customer

You should know what is being done and why.

The customer experience should be simple even when the technical work is not: understand the problem, agree on the direction, define the scope, then execute the plan.
