The project story

This is a genuine before-and-after refresh project. The existing decorative concrete was retained rather than automatically being covered with a new pattern. The after photograph shows the original decorative character reading more clearly after refurbishment.

Why this matters

Older decorative concrete does not always need full resurfacing. When the existing finish is still worth preserving, cleaning, repair, color work and compatible resealing can be a more appropriate direction than starting over.
