What this project shows

A warm-toned walkway leads through the landscaping to a brick-pattern porch beside round white columns. The brick-style border follows the walkway’s edges and curves, connecting the approach visually with the porch and the home’s brick facade.

Design takeaway

A contrasting border can define the approach to an entry while leaving the center of the walkway visually open. The border’s color and layout can relate to the porch and nearby masonry.
